Frank Bucci, Jr., MD
Frank A. Bucci, Jr., MD is an internationally recognized expert in refractive and cataract surgery. He has been a pioneer in refractive surgery, having performed some of the the first RK, AK, PRK and LASIK procedures in the Northeast. His work in the refractive surgery field of ophthalmology require him to spend one hundred percent of his time on the focusing elements of the eye, including the tear film, where Omega-3s demonstrate dramatic effects in ocular functioning.
William G. Carey, MD
William G. Carey, M.D., ophthalmologist, received his degree with Honors from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He interned and served his residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Prior to joining EyeCare Consultants, Dr Carey was Chief of Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat as well as Chief of Ophthalmic Services at Lyster Army Hospital for 5 years. Among Dr Carey's professional affiliations are the Association of Military Ophthalmologists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Vanderburgh County Medical Society, and Indiana Medical Association.
Richard Lindstrom, MD
Dr. Richard L Lindstrom, founder and attending surgeon of Minnesota Eye Consultants and Adjunct Professor Emeritus at the University of Minnesota. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and internationally recognized leader in corneal, cataract, refractive and laser surgery. Sheri Rowen, MD
Dr. Sheri Rowen is a pioneer in the field of Ophthalmology and has served as a Clinical Instructor at Johns Hopkins Hospital as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery; she also served on the Board of Trustees for the ISCLS (International Society of Cosmetic Laser Systems). S. Gregory Smith, MD
Gregory Smith, M.D. is recognized as an international leader in eye surgery, both in Delaware Valley and beyond. In private practice for 23 years, he is Delaware's only Attending Surgeon at the famed Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Smith is fellowship trained in Cornea and Anterior Segment Surgery; which includes Refractive Surgery. He has been performing Refractive Surgery for 21 years.
Dr. Smith is extensively involved in research, education and the advancement of visual health. He has been and is a consultant to several Fortune 500 companies. He has taught advanced surgical techniques in 21 countries. He has published seventeen professional papers, authored an Ophthalmology textbook, "Complications of Intraocular Lenses and Their Management", and a book on Refractive Surgery. He also holds over 20 patents, including an implant for the treatment of Glaucoma, surgical devices, and a pharmaceutical product. Rolando Toyos, MD
Rolando Toyos, M.D. is the Medical Director and Founder of Toyos Clinic. Dr. Toyos is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and specializes in Cataract Surgery, LASIK, Dry Eye, and Glaucoma. He is the inventor of the procedure Intense Pulse Light for dry eye, also known as DELIT. He has trained hundreds of surgeons both nationally and internationally on surgical techniques, medications and new technologies. He has authored several papers and books. He has been named one of The Best Doctors and is the only eye surgeon in Memphis named a premier surgeon by a worldwide eye surgery publication.
Dr. Toyos is originally from California where he received his Bachelors of Art and Masters degrees from Berkeley and Stanford University, respectively. He received his medical degree at the University of Illinois where he was Class President, graduated with James Scholar Academic Honors and received a community service award for helping Chicago City Public Schools develop a pre-med program for students interested in medicine. Dr. Toyos completed his Ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University and Chicago Children's Hospital.

Mitchell Fineman, MD
Dr. Mitchell Fineman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Fineman completed his medical internship at UMDNJ, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He performed his ophthalmology residency and two year vitreoretinal fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
Following his formal training, Dr. Fineman was in private practice for three years as a vitreoretinal surgeon in Pittsburgh, PA and was a Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Fineman is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. He is an Associate Surgeon at Wills Eye Institute and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Jefferson Medical School of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Fineman is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Montgomery County Medical Society, and the American Society of Retina Specialists (Vitreous Society). He is also a member of the Greater Philadelphia Ophthalmic Society, an organization dedicated to the continuing education and information sharing of ophthalmologists throughout the tri-state area, where he has served as Secretary/Treasurer and President. Of special interest to Dr. Fineman is sports related ocular trauma, and he is a member of the American Society of Ocular Trauma, an organization that promotes ocular trauma prevention through education and research. Dr. Fineman is also the ophthalmologist for the Philadelphia Eagles football team.
Dr. Fineman has served as an associate examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology. He currently serves as a medical expert for the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program of the Department of Health and Human Services for the U. S. Department of Justice. He is a Diplomate, National Board of Medical Examiners, and serves on the Continuing Medical Education Committee of Wills Eye Institute. He is a lecturer for the Medical Resident Education Program at Wills Eye, as well as the medical students at Jefferson Medical College. He also lectures at numerous meetings and programs for the communities of the greater Philadelphia area. He has authored numerous scientific publications and also is an investigator for several major international clinical trials. Dr. Fineman is a highly regarded expert in his field and has been honored with inclusion in Best Doctors in America® 2007-2008, Guide to America’s Top Ophthalmologists 2008, and a South Jersey “Top Physician” 2008.

Larry Alexander, OD
Graduate from Indiana School of Optometry, Dr. Alexander spent many years on the faculty of University of Alabama, Birmingham School of Optometry, where he taught ocular disease, participated in private practice, served as Chief of Ocular Disease and performed clinical research. Dr. Alexander contributes to optometric literature and also lectures. His book Primary Care of the Posterior Segment serves as the ocular disease textbook in the majority of optometry schools in the United States, Canada and English speaking countries throughout the world.
Richard Hunter Bond, OD
Richard Hunter Bond, O.D. is a graduate of Denham Springs High School in Denham Springs, LA. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA, in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. In 1990 he trained at the Medical Center of Baton Rouge for Certification for heart function electrocardiogram. He graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA, in 1996 for Doctor of Optometry, with a GPA of 3.55. Dr. Bond attended clinical training in 1994 and 1995 at The Eye Institute, Pennsylvania College of Optometry for experience in primary and emergency care using DPA’s and TPA’s. He is proficient in the management and co-management of ocular disease with specialty services in Glaucoma, Retina, Neurology, Lasers and Contact Lenses.

Board Certified and Licensed Therapeutic Optometrist practicing in Paynesville, Minnesota. Thomas Kislan, OD
Dr. Thomas Kislan is the founder and Medical Director of Stroudsburg Eye Specialists, Hazleton Eye Specialists and The Dry Eye Clinic of Northeast PA. He is a nationally and internationally recognized lecturer and researcher. Results of his research have been presented at numerous national and international meetings and these results are used by other doctors in the treatment of patients. Dr. Kislan lectures on Dry Eye Disease, Ocular Surface and Lid Disease, Glaucoma, Refractive Surgery and the Ocular Uses of Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Dr. Kislan was the first eye doctor to discover that PRN's Omega 3s have use in eye care, specifically that the potent anti-inflammatory benefits of the Omega 3s can significantly improve Dry Eye Disease and Macular Degeneration. Alton A. Williams, OD, F.A.A.O.
Dr. Alton A. Williams was educated in the Wilmington, Delaware public school system, where he graduated from P.S. DuPont High School as a scholar/athlete. After attending the University of Delaware, Dr. Williams matriculated to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) where he graduated with both the Bachelor of Science and the Doctor of Optometry degrees. At graduation from PCO, Dr. Williams was awarded the Clinical Efficiency Award – given to only six of his fellow classmates. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and received his post-doctoral fellowship at the Gesell Institute of Child Development in New Haven, Connecticut.
In 1974, Dr. Williams became Delaware’s first African-American optometrist. Dr. Williams was an assistant professor at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry for several years and has been in private practice for over thirty years. Dr. Williams has lectured internationally and taught clinical techniques to students at (PCO) and doctors in the field across the country. Dr. Williams has received numerous awards including the State of Delaware’s Small Businessman of the Year award in 1986. He has also been honored by the Delaware Optometric Association as the Optometrist of the Year, an award given only a few times in the history of the organization.

Thomas Meade, MD
CDr. Thomas Meade graduated from the Jefferson Medical College and completed his orthopedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University. After his residency, he traveled to Cincinnati to complete a Sports medicine and Knee Biomechanics Fellowship with Dr. Frank Noyes. He is an experienced clinician in the field of knee replacements, knee ligament reconstruction, has developed surgical techniques, instrumentation, and holds patents on several devices. As an author and educator, Dr. Meade has published articles, videos, book chapters, and a book, in addition to speaking extensively on custom-fit knee replacements, kinematics, sports injuries, nutrition, and fitness related topics.
Dr. Meade serves as the host of two popular cable TV shows on orthopedic and medical issues. He presently holds academic positions at The Pennsylvania State University and DeSales University. The Philadelphia Eagles have retained Dr. Meade’s services as a consultant for summer camp at Lehigh University. Dr. Meade received the 2002 Founders Award from the prestigious Medical Fitness Association for his lifetime contributions to the field of medical fitness and the Sir John Charnley Award for orthopedic achievement. Dr. Meade specializes in knee surgery, both sports injuries and joint replacements. He is also recognized as a leading expert in the surgical treatment of displaced clavicle fractures. Dr. Meade helped design and develop the first “Total Kneeling Brace™” for knee replacement patients to safely kneel, in addition to clavicle plates, and surgical instruments designed for knee ligament reconstruction.

Bob Bulgarelli, D.O. F.A.C.C., C.M.A., is a Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Preventative and Integrative Cardiovascular Medicine. Bob is the Medical Director of the Metabolic Division of PRN. Bob serves as Director of Integrative Cardiovascular Medicine at Main Line Health System in Suburban Philadelphia. Bob is Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of the Habit Change Company. Habit Change recently merged with a group in San Diego and the new company, Whole Life Health (WLH) is working closely with Foundations, Corporations, Health Systems,Insurance Companies and the Military in transforming HealthCare. by addressing lifestyle change in a holistic manner and re-inventing the manner in which Primary Care is delivered. Bob is now President of the Research Division of WLH and is on the management Board. Dr.Bob, as his patient's know him, did his formal training in Integrative Medicine and Cardiology with Andrew Weil MD at the University of Arizona. He was raised in Montgomery County where he attended Devon Prep School and St. Joseph ’s University. He earned his medical degree from The University of Ottawa in 1984, completed his residency at Bryn Mawr Hospital in 1987 and completed a fellowship in Endocrinology & Metabolism at Temple University in 1989.
